About Us
Caught in an Accidental Web
Welcome, I, Mel, am going to be your primary contact on this journey.
Webs are not things I cared about or cared for until last year. I don’t like spiders and while I browsed the “web” on an occasional basis, it wasn’t really something I thought much about. Making web pages was some weird amalgamation of science and art, but not really either. It was definitely not something for a serious scientist (such as a physicist) or a serious abstract scientist (mathematician) and I was a double major in both.
Time passed and I ended up going back to school at Highline. The closest study plan to what I thought I wanted, some programming, involved web development. I am in my last quarter and building a web page isn’t so bad anymore.
When I’m not at school, I like to do a lot of hiking and backpacking, but even there I have always tried to avoid running into webs. I will be joined in posting by some of my friends.
Caught is Right

I’m Reba, her trusting hiking puppy for many years and she didn’t ask me whether I wanted to help with this project. Unfortunately, I don’t get to hike anymore, but there may be some posts by me. I was a fluffy half-sheltie and loved running, hiking, my people, and the outdoors.
And Uncomfortable
Yup, we’re the Ten Toes (on Mel’s feet). And we started a story of one of the hikes years ago. We were recently asked if we were going to finish it, so we might do that here.
